Auditions are being held for the play 'The Secret Garden'. We are casting children for various roles.
About the Project
Synopsis: Orphaned in India, 11-year-old MARY LENNOX returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald and his disabled son COLIN. The estate's many wonders include a magic garden which beckons the children with haunting melodies and the "Dreamers," spirits from Mary's past who guide her through her new life, dramatizing The Secret Garden's compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal.
Audition Details
- Lunch Break: 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
- Sign-up: No advanced appointments. Equity Members will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. A sign-up sheet will be available starting at 9:30 AM.
- Preparation: Please prepare a short monologue and/or a short song. Auditions should not exceed 3 minutes total. An accompanist will be provided, so bring sheet music. Additionally, bring a copy of your headshot and resume stapled back-to-back at all four corners. Remember to bring your equity card to EPAs.
Important Dates
- 1st Rehearsal: Friday, November 6, 2026
- 1st Performance: Tuesday, December 8, 2026
- Closing Date: Sunday, February 14, 2027
- All parts will be understudied.

Soprano. The orphaned child of Albert and Rose Craven, who goes to live with her Uncle after her parents and caretaker die during the cholera epidemic in India. Innate sense of curiosity and resilience. British accent required.
COLIN CRAVEN
Youth voice, tenor. Archibald's ten-year-old son. Accustomed to being fussed over as a sickly, bedridden little boy. Uses authority and temper tantrums to get what he wants.
