Fluent Teen Speakers Needed for AAPPL Video Project in DC Area

Project Overview

Casting fluent teen speakers of Arabic, German, Portuguese, or Spanish for the AAPPL Video Project.

Roles

• Fluent teen speakers of Arabic, German, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Dates & Deadlines

• Filming will take place in late April or early May 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed).

Location

• Filming will be held in Alexandria, VA. Local applicants from D.C., Baltimore, or Richmond are preferred.

Compensation

• $300 for up to three hours of in-person filming and a one-hour rehearsal via Zoom.
• An additional $40 will be provided to cover the cost of expedited mailing of the Theatrical Permit application.

Additional Information

• Theatrical permits are required for actors under 16. Parents must complete and mail the appropriate forms, with instructions provided.
• For actors under 18, a parent or guardian must sign a permission form in advance, attend a one-hour rehearsal via Zoom, and be present during the in-person filming.
• Actors are responsible for their own travel and expenses.
• Health and safety protocols may be implemented as needed to follow CDC guidelines.
