Project Overview
Casting families with teens for a project by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Important Note: Only local talent will be accepted.
Rate
- Anticipated rate: $500 per person per day, less any fees.
About the Project
The IIHS is producing a series of videos featuring teens and parents shopping for used vehicles. Filming will primarily take place outdoors on dealership lots, with additional interior vehicle shots.

Dates & Deadlines
- Selected talent will participate in a half-day shoot in Charlottesville, VA.
- Talent should be available for a 4-hour window between 9 AM and 7 PM on one of the filming dates.
Wardrobe
- Casual attire is required. Please avoid:
- Logos
- Solid black or white shirts
- Busy or strong patterns
- Bringing alternate wardrobe options is appreciated.
Usage
Content will be used across:
- IIHS website
- Social media
- YouTube channel
- News outlet B-roll coverage
Application Instructions
For teen submissions, please send a current photo and a full body shot, including height, weight, and age for the teen. For group submissions, please send current pictures of the entire group, including height, weight, and age for minors.
