Casting Young Actors for 'Cinderella: A Musical Panto'

Project Overview

Young actors in grades 7-11 are invited to participate in the production of 'Cinderella: A Musical Panto'. This is a great opportunity for local talent to showcase their skills.

Roles

• All actors are required to prepare and present a one-minute memorized monologue. This can be an independently prepared piece or an excerpt from the provided text options.
• Singing is optional; however, actors interested in the musical aspect should prepare a song approximately 32 bars (or one minute) long. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key, double-sided, in a 3-ring binder for the accompanist.
• A clear, current photo is required; professional headshots are welcome but not mandatory. Performers with previous theatre, vocal, or dance experience are encouraged to bring a resume, though it is not required.

Dates & Deadlines

• Show dates: October 13—January 3
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your audition block to complete some simple paperwork.
• Callbacks for specific productions in the 2026/2027 season may follow.

Compensation

• Pay ranges from stipends to full weekly pay, with amounts between $25.00 and $550.00 per week, depending on the type of production or development project and venue.
