Seeking Young African American Actress for 'Fences' Production

Project Overview

We are looking for an Equity African American actress aged 7-10 years old to join our production of 'Fences'.

• Opening Night: June 3, 2027
• Closing Night: June 20, 2027

Compensation

• Contract Type: LOA
• Weekly Rate:
  • $590.92 (until 1/3/27)
  • $608.65 (after 1/4/27)

Additional Information

• Prepare a monologue and/or a song that showcases your talent. An accompanist will be provided.
• Bring a stapled headshot and resume.
• An Equity Monitor will not be present; the producer will oversee the audition process.
• Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.

When applying, please specify your preferred audition day and time (Tuesday, May 19, 2026, between 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM), and indicate if your audition will include singing. The directors will do their best to accommodate your request.
