Teen Performers Needed for 'Rent' Production

Project Overview

Teen performers are sought for the upcoming production of 'Rent'.

Roles

• Open Call: Saturday, May 9, 2026
• Equity Chorus Call: Sunday, May 10, 2026
• Equity Principal Audition: Monday, May 11, 2026

Audition Requirements

For all plays:

• Prepare a 60-90 second contemporary monologue.
• A second monologue may be presented instead of songs if not auditioning for musicals.

For all musicals:

• Prepare up to 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show.
• A second song may be presented instead of a monologue if not auditioning for plays.
• Selections from the show(s) are strongly encouraged!
• The RENT open call will focus on dance in the style of an Equity Chorus Call. Performers should expect to stay for approximately 1 hour. Not everyone will be asked to sing.

Dates & Deadlines

• Production Dates: November 10, 2026 - February 6, 2027
• Application Deadline: THIS FRIDAY, April 24!

Compensation

• AEA Rate: $906 per week
• Non-AEA Rate: $19.16 per hour with a weekly minimum.
