Casting for scare actors for the 2026 Halloween season. Only local talent will be accepted.

Compensation

• Seasonal scare actors (ages 16+) may be eligible for a nightly performance stipend of $20–$30 per event night, based on experience, performance, reliability, and assigned role. While this is not a traditional hourly position, it is our way of recognizing the dedication and hard work of our cast.
• Individuals under 16 are welcome to volunteer with parental approval and will not be eligible for compensation.

Perks

• All cast and crew members receive water and dinner on event nights.
• The directors host cast gatherings and appreciation events throughout the year as a thank-you for helping bring our haunt to life.

Role Expectations

• Paid scare actors must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check. Volunteer opportunities may be available for younger participants with parental approval.
• Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign all required waivers and paperwork.
• Must maintain a positive attitude, be dependable, and work well as part of a team.
• Must be willing to take direction, adapt to changing situations, and contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from rehearsals and event nights.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the role, which may include standing and/or walking for extended periods, navigating uneven terrain, crouching, jumping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in low-light environments.
