Seeking Scare Actors for 2026 Halloween Events

Project Overview

We are casting scare actors for the upcoming 2026 Halloween season. Only local talent will be considered.

Roles

• Paid Scare Actors: Must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Available for individuals under 16 with parental approval.

Compensation

• Seasonal scare actors (ages 16+) may receive a nightly performance stipend of $20–$30, depending on experience, performance, reliability, and assigned role.
• All cast and crew members will receive water and dinner on event nights.
• Directors will host cast gatherings and appreciation events throughout the year.

Requirements

• Must maintain a positive attitude and be dependable.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction.
• Must have reliable transportation to rehearsals and event nights.
• Able to perform essential duties, including standing/walking for extended periods, navigating uneven terrain, crouching, jumping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in low-light environments.
• Individuals with physical limitations or accessibility needs are encouraged to apply; various roles are available to match abilities and strengths.

Additional Information

• Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign all required waivers and paperwork.
