Auditions for Teen Roles in 'Footloose'

Project Overview

Auditions are open for teenagers to join the cast of 'Footloose'. All actors must be at least 15 years old at the time of the first rehearsal.

Roles

• Teenagers (ages 15 and up)

Dates & Deadlines

• Rehearsals Begin: 4/27/2026
• Show Opens: 6/5/2026
• Show Closes: 6/21/2026 (possible extension to 6/27/2026)

Audition Requirements

• Prepare either one pop song or one contemporary musical theatre selection, approximately one minute in length.
• If selecting a pop song, focus on clearly acting the intentions of the lyrics and storytelling through the music rather than performing it as a concert piece.
• Music selections should be approximately 32 bars in length.
• An accompanist will be provided.
• Please bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key, along with a physical copy of your headshot and resume.
