Seeking local actors aged 17-18 for the play 'Red Days'. This production explores the challenges faced by Dianna as she navigates her senior year amidst a crisis in air quality.
About the Project
As the air quality in Salt Lake reaches critical levels, we follow Dianna through four seasons, balancing school, her running team, and her passion for running. As she approaches graduation, Dianna must confront whether her running aspirations are truly her own or influenced by her mother, all while witnessing the severe impact of air pollution on athletes.

Dates & Deadlines
Rehearsals:
- 8/17 – 8/20: 6 PM to 10 PM (one to two days of table work)
- 8/24 – 8/27: Mon-Thurs, 6 PM to 10 PM
- 8/31 – 9/3: Mon-Thurs, 6 PM to 10 PM
- 9/8 – 9/10: Tech, Tues-Thurs, 6 PM to 10 PM
Performances:
- 9/11, 9/12, 9/16, 9/17, 9/18, 9/19 – 7:30 PM
- 9/13 – 4:00 PM
Compensation
- All roles will receive a $300 stipend.
Additional Information
- Understudies will have one guaranteed performance on 9/17.
- Please prepare a 2-3 minute contemporary monologue for auditions. The remainder of the audition will be for adjustments, a re-read, and questions.
