About the Project
In this engaging story, an extended family gathers at St. Luke’s Church to celebrate the life of their family patriarch. As family secrets loom, two sisters confront their past during a gathering filled with unique characters, including Beverly, who arrives with her “blessings,” and Baneatta’s son, who brings his Jewish boyfriend. Amidst the chaos, the sisters face a truth that could either heal or fracture their relationship.

Audition Requirements
- Please prepare a 60-90 second monologue and a 16-bar cut of a musical theatre song (in the style of the show). No a cappella. An accompanist will be provided.
Compensation
- NON-UNION RATE: $500/week + housing for overstudies
- AEA RATE: Single Engagement Agreement at $565/week
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
