Young Brian is a passionate, imaginative kid and a natural young artist; yhis is a deeply expressive, largely non-verbal role: Brian carries most of his scenes through face and body while adult voiceover plays over the top; must convincingly read as 13 years old or younger on camera; will be cast as a matched pair with Adult Brian. Valid California Entertainment Work Permit required. Minor must have a parent/guardian available on set at all times; a studio teacher will be provided.
James (Brian's Friend)
James is Young Brian's best friend, an easygoing, warm, regular kid who rides bikes with Brian in the 1999 scenes. He should feel like a believable same-age friend to 13-year-old Brian and ground his world in everyday friendship. Requirements: Confident bicycle rider; submit a short bike-riding video. Valid California Entertainment Work Permit required. Parent/guardian must be on set at all times. Studio teacher provided. Coogan (blocked trust) account required.
