Set in Bellarica, Mexico, the story begins on a stormy night when two baby girls are born into vastly different circumstances. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they are swapped by a ruthless ex-beauty queen, leading to an extraordinary destiny filled with misfortunes and hilarity. Written by Karen Zacarías, this play incorporates Brechtian interludes, Shakespearian-style antics, and live music, making it a captivating experience for all audiences.

Compensation

• Weekly minimum of $1225 (LORT B)

Audition Information

• Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
• Bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
• Prepare two contrasting monologues. Singers may prepare a song from a musical standard and can forgo one monologue for the song. Total audition material should not exceed 2 1/2 minutes. An accompanist will be provided for all in-person auditions. Video submissions are not accepted at this time.
