Project Overview
Seeking local teens for the play 'I & You'. This production explores themes of youth, life, love, and human connection through the story of two classmates, Anthony and Caroline, who bond over a poetry assignment while navigating their personal struggles.
Roles
- Anthony: An athletic and popular teen.
- Caroline: A quick-witted teen homebound due to illness.
Note: The cast must be multi-ethnic, with Anthony and Caroline being of different races.

(able to play 17-18 year old) He is neat, poised, mature for his age. He’s an A student, a team player, a nice guy. He’s not really great around girls. He takes his homework very seriously. When he likes something (jazz music) he is all in. Throughout the whole play he looks at Caroline like he’s trying to figure her out. Like he really needs to know who she is.
Caroline
(Able to play 17-18 year old) Cynical, guarded, and sharper than she lets on. Though she is dealing with illness, she doesn’t lead with vulnerability - her sarcasm and wit do the talking. Her bedroom has become her entire world, both sanctuary and cage. She keeps others at arm’s length and rarely lets an honest feeling rise to the surface.
