Teen singers, dancers, and performers ages 12–18 are wanted for the YouthFest Talent Showcase. Only local talent will be accepted.

Project Overview

• Youthfest Talent Showcase is a Variety Show FUNDRAISER for the SLT scholarship program, featuring performers ages 12–18.
• Other monies raised go directly toward scholarships for graduating senior applicants who have contributed to Springfield Little Theatre in some way, either on a performance or technical level.

Compensation

• There will be ONE $500 check awarded to a junior or senior in high school the evening of Youthfest based on his/her performance in the Talent Showcase (evaluated by area arts professionals)!

Audition Details

• There is an individual entrant fee that must accompany a Youthfest Talent Showcase Audition Form.
• Please wear performance attire—your picture will be taken on this day to use in the program should you be cast in the showcase. (If selected to perform, we reserve the right to ask you to edit your piece for appropriateness of dress, content or time if necessary.)
• Be prepared to present the exact selection that you would like to have considered to be slotted into the showcase.
• Unless you will be accompanying yourself, please plan to perform with an accompaniment track.
