Project Overview

Casting teen Equity performers for the stage adaptation of 'Life of Pi'. Only local talent will be considered.

Roles

Bay Area Theatre
- $906 weekly minimum (Tier 5) - Mainstage
- $651 weekly minimum (Tier 3) - Second Theatre - (PERFECT DAUGHTER)

For Plays: Prepare 1 contemporary monologue. A second monologue is optional if you do not wish to be considered for a musical.
For Musicals: Prepare up to 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show. Selections from the shows themselves are encouraged. A second song may be brought if you do not wish to be considered for a play. A monologue is not required.
An accompanist will be available; please bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key.
Audition slots will be 3 minutes long.

Mainstage productions rehearse 6 days per week, typically Tuesday-Sunday, with varied rehearsal times often from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM on weekends.
Mainstage productions consist of 8 shows per week, with matinee performances on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Second Theatre productions rehearse 5 days per week and perform 6 shows per week.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided; the producer will manage all aspects of the audition.
Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
