About the Project

Asolo Rep commemorates the 100th anniversary of John Ringling moving his circus to Sarasota with a world premiere docu-musical. Featuring a cast of actors, acrobats, aerialists, and a singing Ringmaster accompanied by the Circus Band, this love letter to Sarasota will have you feeling like a kid again.

Roles

• Actor: Boys aged 5-10 with Equity membership.

Dates & Deadlines

• First Rehearsal: February 12th, 2026
• Opening: March 27th, 2026
• Closing: April 24th, 2026

Compensation

• Contract: LORT Non-Rep
• Weekly Minimum: $1213 (LORT B), $889 (LORT D)

Additional Info

Prepare either a brief song or 16 bars of a song and a one-minute contemporary monologue. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a hard copy of your headshot and résumé, stapled together. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
