Looking for an Equity actor aged 12-14 years old for the production of 'On Golden Pond'. Only local talent will be accepted.

About the Project

This play inspired the Oscar Award-Winning film! The story follows Norman and Ethel, who have spent every summer of their lives in Maine on Golden Pond. As they prepare for another quiet summer, their daughter arrives with a request to care for her fiancé’s 13-year-old son. This boy becomes the grandson that Norman and Ethel have longed for. Together, they share a summer filled with fishing, books, and valuable life lessons. However, as the seasons change, they reflect on the good years and hope for another summer on Golden Pond.

• 1st Rehearsal: 8/18/26
• Opening Night: 9/12/26
• Closing Night: 10/4/26
• Performance Schedule:
  • Thursday - Friday: 7 PM
  • Saturday: 2 PM and 7 PM
  • Sunday: 3 PM
  • Note: Saturday 9/12 has a special performance at 5 PM

Compensation

• Contract: Independent Theatre Contract
• Weekly Minimum: $565

Audition Requirements

Please prepare two contrasting 1-minute monologues OR one monologue and 16 bars of a song. Remember to bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
