Casting Kids for Disney's Frozen Musical Production

Project Overview

Seeking local talent for the musical adaptation of Disney's "Frozen." This Broadway production follows the journey of sisters Elsa and Anna as they navigate love and family in a kingdom engulfed in eternal winter. The show features beloved songs from the film along with new musical numbers, creating a captivating blend of spectacle and heart.

Roles

• Kids aged 8-16 with strong singing and acting abilities.

Dates & Deadlines

• Callbacks: April 16th from 6-10 PM, with a TBD callback on April 18th from 3:30-8 PM (by invitation only).
• First Cast Meeting: April 25th.
• Rehearsals Begin: May 4th, typically Monday-Friday evenings (7-10 PM) and Saturday mornings (9-2 PM).
• Mandatory Cue to Cue Rehearsal: June 14th from 10 AM-10 PM.
• Tech Week Rehearsals: June 15th-18th (6 PM-Midnight) and July 5th-7th (6:30 PM-Midnight).

Compensation

• Actors will receive a stipend of $800, four complimentary tickets to "Frozen" for friends and family, two season tickets to the Ziegfeld Theater valid for one year, and a $300 gift card to the Egyptian Theater. If double cast, the stipend will be split. Additionally, actors will receive a discount code for ticket sales, earning $5 commission for each ticket sold using their code.

Additional Information

• A short, intensive six-week rehearsal process running Monday through Saturday.
• Minimal conflicts are preferred for casting.
• Prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show (songs from the show are accepted).
