Casting Local Parent-Teen Duos for Documentary on Technology Use

Project Overview

Casting parents and their teens aged 14-17 in the Greater Toronto area for a documentary exploring how families utilize technology. Selected participants will be featured in a branded film for a major telecommunications company.

Compensation

• Rate: $900-$2,200+ each for one day of filming.
• Location Fee: An additional $1,500 if filming takes place in your home.
• This is an ACTRA project.

Requirements

• No acting experience is required, but candidates should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed.
• Both participants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Willingness to allow a small crew to film your family in your home is necessary.
• Participants must reside in the Greater Toronto Area and be available for filming in Toronto.
• If shortlisted, availability for a brief audition with the director on April 1st or 2nd is required.
• Filming dates are April 8th-12th and April 17th-18th; each individual will be needed for 1-2 days and must be available all days until booked.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified on or before March 31st.
