Project Overview

Seeking local teens for the production of '2026 Midwinter Revels: An American Celebration of the Solstice'. This unique show celebrates a 250-year-old American story, incorporating 19th-century songs and narratives from the Great Plains. The production highlights the cultural contributions of diverse communities, including Polish, Irish, German, Indigenous, Chinese, and Black families, showcasing the joy and harmony of Revels on the Shortest Day.

Dates & Deadlines

  • Dance Call: Required for all actors auditioning for Marya and John Patrick, scheduled for Monday, June 15, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Compensation

  • $500 stipend for the rehearsal and production process.

Audition Requirements

  • Prepare a 60-90 second monologue.
  • Cold read short sides from the script.
  • Optional: Bring a short acapella selection from a classical or folk song to sing.

Possesses warmth, humor, and quiet strength. Must be capable of conveying both youthful optimism and emotional maturity. Some dancing ability preferred. Open to Non-Union Actors ONLY.

Possesses an easy charm and a genuine heart. Must be capable of handling both lighthearted and emotionally grounded scenes. Some dancing ability preferred. Open to Non-Union Actors ONLY.
