Teen Performers Needed for 'La Gringa' Production

Opportunities are available for teen performers in the production of 'La Gringa'. Please see the details below.

Roles

• All roles are non-AEA and considered volunteer positions with a paid stipend ranging from $400-$1200, depending on the size of the role and the length of the play.

Dates & Deadlines

• Callbacks for specific shows will be held on dates to be announced.
• Rehearsal Schedule: Five days a week, Sunday-Thursday, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
• Rehearsal Period: Most full shows have a six-week rehearsal period. Actors will have the Monday before opening off.
• Performance Schedule: Full shows run four times a week:
  • Fridays at 7:30 PM
  • Saturdays at 1 PM and 7:30 PM
  • Sundays at 2 PM
• Key Dates:
  • First read: Sept 27
  • Tech: Nov 8
  • Opening night: Nov 13
  • Closing: Nov 22 (9 shows only)

Audition Requirements

Please prepare the following:

• One contemporary comic monologue (1930s-present), 90 seconds or less.
• One contemporary dramatic monologue (1930s-present), 90 seconds or less.

Note: Only local talent will be accepted.
