Casting a teen actor aged 16 and above for a documentary project focused on the history of Hampton.
About the Project
This 30-minute documentary explores the experiences of real individuals during the Revolutionary War era, particularly highlighting the Battle of Hampton, which took place on October 26-27, 1775. This was Virginia's first engagement in the Revolution and one of the few conflicts outside of New England at that time.
Roles
- Lead Role: $250 per day
- All talent will receive prominent recognition/credit at the end of the film.
Filming Details
- The film will depict the stories of Patriots, Loyalists, and civilians and will accompany the exhibit “The Revolutionary Hampton: Journeys of Liberty” at the Hampton History Museum.
- Filming locations may include various areas in Virginia, such as Urbanna, Yorktown, Hampton, and Norfolk.
- Filming is scheduled for April & May 2026.
- Callbacks are expected on May 29 & 30 in Hampton or via Zoom.
Application Instructions
Please submit your self-tape by 9 AM on Monday, 3/23. Self-tapes are required for each role, and sides are provided for each character. Slate with your first and last name, the role you are auditioning for, and your location. In your email, indicate if you are open to accepting a featured or secondary role if not selected for a lead role. Talent may also submit for multiple roles as applicable.
