Child Actors for Online Nursing Training Video Clips

Project Overview

Casting a child ages 5-10 for upcoming video clips. Only local talent will be accepted.

Project Details

• Usage: The video clips will be used in an online training system for nurses counsellors.
• Setting: Actors will play the role of patients and families in a hospital/nursing setting.
• Format: The session includes prepared character backgrounds and scripted language/prompts with some improvising.

Rate & Time

• Pay: $400 CAD
• Time Expectation: Up to a half day on location. This rate is intended to compensate for both location time and prep time.
• Filming Date: Expected filming date is July 26, but the needs are ongoing and more will occur in the future.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: All experience levels with acting are welcome to apply.
• Language: Comfortable English fluency is required.
• Authenticity: Strongly committed to authenticity in educational portrayals, so it's preferred that actors match specific cultural backgrounds and gender identities/expressions, have some experience with hospitalization and medical treatment, and where indicated, some experience with or around certain medical conditions.
